This family came to me for their Maternity and Newborn session. I absolutely love when clients do this because it allows me to really connect with them over a period of time. Going from a family of four to a family of five- this family is adorable and it was an honor to capture them all!

We did her maternity session in October when the weather was cool, but still really nice out! At Olivia Acton Photography located in Janesville, Wisconsin, both outdoor and in studio maternity sessions are an option. Since the season was Fall, this family choose to do outdoor only since the time of year is usually so nice! It definitely was a cloudy day but the lake helped give a nice glow in the background!

After several months, Mom came back for an in studio session of her beautiful newborn baby girl, and her family. We were able to get a variety of poses in a short time. Baby Girl did not love the idea of sleep but she was not really fussy, just very observant of the world around her! Eventually, I was able to lull her to sleep!

Harper has such a precious little face, doesn’t she!?

Once newborn photos were complete, we were also got Mama and Baby Photographs! These turned out so lovely, and it makes sense why this is the number one requested mom and baby pose!

Mom and dad also choose to have sibling photographs done with Miss Harper Mae! Brother and Sister were such great sports and even smiled for me!

Lastly, we did a couple of “detail” photographs against a black black drop (my FAV) that turned out beautifully! Here is one that came out so lovely, in my opinion!
