Jayden came to me several months in advance to book a maternity photoshoot and newborn session for her first baby. It is great when clients do this because it ensures availability! Jayden and her partner are awaiting the arrival of their sweet baby. In the meantime, I love her maternity session so much and have to share!

We did a combination of in studio and outdoor for her session. Her partner joined for some lovely images of the two of them with Jayden’s adorable bump. Her partner assisted in some of these photos below by holding and throwing fabrics. I find that the partners love being involved even if they are not in every single photograph!

We did a variety of poses and styles for the in studio portion of her maternity session. She loved the gowns that are available in the maternity client closet offered by Olivia Acton Photography. The laying pose in the pink tulle gown ended up being one of her favorites.

I absolutely love the combination of pink against the blue backdrop in studio at Olivia Acton Photography. It always photographs so lovely and is a nice soft contrast of colors. Jayden’s partner, John, was so supportive and loving towards her, which is always so nice to see!

After the in studio portion of the maternity session, we headed out to a pond in Janesville, WI for the outdoor sunset portion. The lighting ended up being beautiful that day! However, it was quite hot outside. Despite the heat, the photos turned out beautifully.

I cannot wait to have them back with their new baby in the next few weeks!
