This little boy was the first baby born to his mom and dad. I love photographing first babies! All babies are wonderful, but first babies are the start of it all! Those babies give the title of “mom” and/or “dad” to their parents! Jackson was a sleepy little guy, who was pretty happy right up until the end of the session. I always ask my clients about their home décor and nursery themes. It helps to guide the color selections that I choose when setting up for the newborn session. Mom said that they were going with nature and mountains, so blues and greens were a prefect selection.

Do you see how he is grabbing his little foot in his sleep? It really melted my heart! He even put his hand behind his head all on his own, and it was perfectly adorable. Jackson’s little lips are so full and cute! Mom and dad were both so loving with him, and it really made me love my job!

We were able to capture a lot of variety during this newborn session. Jackson even let me put him in one of my new baby boy outfits which was so cute on him. I always try to capture detail shots in my newborns sessions at my home studio. You can see those below.
