Tracy described her style as simple and somewhat boho. She was not wanting a big, fluffy dress or a gown as she did not feel it was her “style”. While I do encourage Mamas to step out of their comfort zones, she definitely was seeking a specific style for her portraits at the studio located in Janesville, WI.

We walked through poses together, laughed, and spoke about her pregnancy. She strongly desired that her hubby be apart of this special session…and what’s more is that it was also Tracy’s birthday on the exact day of her maternity photoshoot with Olivia Acton Photography! What a fun birthday experience!

Maternity sessions offered by Olivia Acton Photography can take place either indoors at my studio (or at the client’s home for a lifestyle feel), or outdoors at an agreed upon location. Sometimes, we do both! In fact, this couple did choose to do both! It was a cold Winter day but we were able to add nice outdoor photographs to their gallery. That is for another blog post!

As a newborn, maternity, and family photographer in Janesville, Wisconsin, I love to connect with growing families! Moms-to-be and dads-to-be are in for a whole new experience and it is beautiful! As a mom of four myself and a long-time RN, I feel that I’m able to offer a unique experience with low stress and high satisfaction. My clients are met where they are at emotionally and physically, and beautiful memories are created.

As you can see, Tracy and Dustin had a great experience and we were able to achieve some beautiful artwork. Soon, their newborn session will be coming! I can’t wait to work with this lovely couple again and meet their new bundle of joy!
